Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk around property several times daily, up to 10 miles
  • Ability to walk on uneven surfaces
  • Ability to climb several flights of stairs multiple times daily
  • Hearing and visual ability to detect signs of emergency
  • Ability to sit, stand, reach, bend, and stoop for extended periods
  • Willingness to maintain a regular schedule including possible overtime, weekends, holidays, and some after-hours events
  • Commitment to comply with company safety and compliance manual

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Ability to follow safety procedures
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
  • Completion of one approved fair housing seminar within one year and every two years thereafter

Job Duties

  • Perform general cleaning of common building hallways including wiping down entry doors and vacuuming carpets
  • Clean clubhouse, leasing, and management office by emptying trash receptacles, dusting furnishings, and vacuuming or mopping floors
  • Conduct weekly cleaning of model apartments, including dusting, mopping vinyl floorings, disinfecting kitchen and bathroom areas, and arranging furnishings
  • Sanitize clubhouse and common restrooms daily, restock supplies, replace burned-out light bulbs, and empty trash receptacles
  • Clean fitness and exercise rooms weekly, including dusting or wiping down equipment and vacuuming floors
  • Maintain mailroom cleanliness weekly by mopping floors and emptying trash receptacles
  • Sanitize pool and whirlpool restrooms and locker rooms daily, restock supplies, and perform monthly cleaning of associated fixtures
  • Conduct seasonal pool deck maintenance including furniture arrangement, washing, and trash removal
  • Prioritize and complete service requests within 24 hours
  • Perform daily inspections of common areas and amenities, reporting issues or completing minor repairs within housekeeping scope
  • Complete checklists and timesheets as required
  • Maintain professional and friendly communications with residents, team members, and contractors
  • Notify supervisors of work delays, emergencies, and resident concerns
  • Comply with Liv Communities safety and compliance standards
