Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • perform daily cleaning and sanitation of resident rooms, common areas, offices, and restrooms
  • follow established cleaning schedules and departmental procedures
  • handle cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies safely and according to manufacturer guidelines
  • coordinate cleaning activities with nursing staff to minimize disruptions to residents
  • maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment throughout the facility
  • report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor
  • assist with routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks throughout the facility
  • support upkeep of building systems, equipment, and grounds
  • follow maintenance schedules and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
  • coordinate with nursing services when performing maintenance in resident areas
  • report all incidents, accidents, or equipment malfunctions promptly
  • maintain tools, supplies, and work areas in good condition
