  • potential exposure to hazardous chemicals, infections, waste, blood and body fluids
  • required vision including close, distance, peripheral, and adjusting focus

Job Duties

  • perform routine cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other facility spaces, following established cleaning protocols, schedules, and standards
  • handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens and personal items
  • clean and sanitize bathrooms including toilets, sinks, showers, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning agents and disinfectants, and replenish supplies as needed
  • dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces including windowsills, ledges, and baseboards
  • vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstery, sweep and mop hard surface floors to remove dirt, stains, and allergens
  • change bed linens and make beds ensuring cleanliness and proper placement of sheets, blankets, and pillows
  • empty trash and recycling containers, replace liners, and transport waste to designated disposal areas following infection control and waste management protocols
  • clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, handrails, and elevator buttons to prevent the spread of germs and infectious diseases
  • inspect and report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed during cleaning rounds
  • assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks like floor waxing, carpet shampooing, and upholstery cleaning
  • adhere to facility policies and procedures including safety regulations, infection control protocols, and confidentiality guidelines
  • perform other duties as requested by management
