- prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning services preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving furniture
- knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- ability to communicate effectively
- ability to follow instructions
- willingness to work flexible hours

Job Duties
- Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic's mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations
- meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements
- maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency standards as it relates to the environment, employee, patient safety or job performance
- cleans and services areas within Billings Clinic including patient rooms, isolation rooms, physician's offices, surgery, dialysis, radiology, public access areas, waiting rooms, offices, stairwells, elevators, restrooms and laundry
- maintains floors by sweeping, mopping, stripping, finishing, buffing and refinishing hard floor surfaces, shampoos carpets and furniture
- removes trash and linen from the assigned area
- washes windows, walls, vents, lights, and baseboards utilizing appropriate disinfectants
- dusts and polishes hard surfaces
- moves furniture and equipment within Billings Clinic and to off site storage as necessary
- changes curtains and drapes as needed
- delivers and replenishes supplies
- performs laundry services including coordinating daily laundry needs, collection, sorting, weighing, folding, counting, stacking and distribution of laundry and linen garments
- maintains competency in all environmental, employee or patient safety standards relevant to job performance
- identifies needs and sets goals for own growth and development
- performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet departmental or organizational needs
