Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in housekeeping or janitorial work
- ability to stand, bend, walk, and lift moderate weights for extended periods
- ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- reliable and punctual
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends if required
Job Qualifications
- prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- ability to follow instructions and work independently
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks

Job Duties
- perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned
- perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments
- clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating and cooling units in resident and recreational areas
- clean, wash, sanitize, and polish bathroom fixtures removing water marks
- clean windows and mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entry/exit ways
- clean floors including sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting
- clean carpets including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting
- clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing
- remove dirt, dust, grease, film from surfaces using proper cleaning and disinfecting solutions
- clean hallways, stairways, and elevators
- discard waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacles with liners
- clean vacant rooms as assigned
- ensure areas are clean and equipment, tools, supplies are properly stored
- assure facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner
