Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
- experience with cleaning equipment and cleaning agents preferred
- ability to follow detailed instructions
- good communication skills
- reliability and punctuality
- willingness to work flexible hours as needed

- prior housekeeping or janitorial experience is a plus
- ability to follow instructions and perform assigned tasks efficiently
- good physical stamina to handle cleaning duties

- basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Job Duties
- perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned
- perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments
- clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating and cooling units, etc. in resident and recreational areas
- clean, wash, sanitize, and/or polish bathroom fixtures and remove water marks
- clean windows and mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrance/exit ways
- clean floors including sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting
- clean carpets including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting
- clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing
- remove dirt, dust, grease, and film from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions
- clean hallways, stairways, and elevators
- discard waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liner
- clean vacant rooms as assigned
- ensure areas are clean and equipment, tools, supplies are properly stored
- assure the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner
