Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- related experience preferred
- must successfully pass diocesan background screening and Safe Environment Training
- strong communication skills in English
- ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 30 pounds
- willing to work evenings and weekends as needed
- able to work under stress and pressure
- maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- physical stamina for climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling

- related experience in custodial or housekeeping preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English
- strong attention to detail

Job Duties
- Clean and maintain building interiors including offices, classrooms, hallways, restrooms, cafeteria, gym, lavatories, and entrances
- perform general custodial tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and polishing furniture and fixtures
- wash and clean windows, glass, counters, vents, fans, walls, woodwork, and mirrors
- clean and restock restrooms, kitchens, and food service areas
- use appropriate cleaning solutions, chemicals, and equipment safely
- remove trash and transport to disposal/recycling areas
- move and arrange furniture, equipment, and supplies
- respond to emergency situations ensuring safe conditions
- perform light maintenance and minor repairs
- requisition and restock supplies and equipment
- report and remove safety hazards or unauthorized persons
- perform housekeeping duties at the Pastor's residence including laundry and cleaning
- develop cleaning schedules and purchase household supplies
- service and report mechanical malfunctions
- perform scheduled janitorial duties such as floor waxing and carpet cleaning
- maintain confidentiality and ensure smooth household operations
