Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of housekeeping experience or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, techniques and standards
- Skills in using cleaning products and equipment
- Skill in following verbal and written instructions
- Valid Oklahoma driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test

Job Duties
- Meet organizational expectations as defined by the Employee Standards of Performance, department policies and procedures, and clinical strategic goals
- Verbalize a clear understanding of continuous quality improvement and customer satisfaction measures and actively participate in improvement initiatives
- Clean assigned area using clinical approved methods and chemicals
- Maintain assigned area in a clean and sanitary condition free from dirt, dust and other visible soils
- Handle regulated medical waste in accordance with applicable regulations
- Follow Duty List for assigned area without deviation unless advised by supervisor
- Maintain assigned equipment and storage areas properly, keeping it clean and reporting any repair concerns to the supervisor
- Sweep, mop, polish, and strip floors in rooms and halls
- Dust and/or polish furniture, blinds, and equipment
- Clean restrooms and fill dispensers
- Vacuum, spot clean, and/or shampoo rugs, carpets, and furniture using commercial-type vacuum cleaners and shampooing equipment
- Report malfunction of bathroom fixtures, light fixtures, and/or damages to room and hall furnishings to supervisor
- Stock with appropriate supplies
- Wash dishes or utensils as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
