LCB Senior Living is currently hiring part-time Housekeepers at its Suffield by the River location, with weekend shifts needed specifically on Saturdays and Sundays. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- previous housekeeping experience in health care or hospitality setting preferred
- ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
- ability to push and pull carts
- ability to walk, sit and stand continuously
- ability to turn, crouch, kneel, stoop, bend below waist and reach above shoulder height
- ability to use cleaning equipment safely
- ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks with consideration for residents, visitors and coworkers
- ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing

Job Duties
- Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living to residents, visitors, co-workers and the surrounding community
- as an associate you are expected to have an active role in growing community occupancy by representing and interacting positively with potential residents, family members and professionals
- thoroughly clean the bathrooms including toilet, vanity, sink, shower, shower seat and floor with cleaning solution
- clean kitchen areas completely including wiping counters and under objects and mopping kitchen floors
- empty wastebaskets and replace bags
- dust and polish all surfaces
- wipe off all surfaces including windowsills, woodwork and counters
- clean carpets including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, disinfecting
- clean all common areas and common bathrooms on a daily basis and as often as needed
- maintain housekeeping carts in clean, orderly manner
- remove, fold and return bed linens
- wash and fold linens
- clean and wash windows
- clean and dust blinds
- general pick-up outside as needed
- attend required in-service training and orientations
- fill other positions as needed when someone is out
- perform any other assigned duties
