Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must be flexible with schedule including days and shifts
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work as a team and move from task to task with ease
- Must be able to use a bed management system such as EPIC, use pagers and phones
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is an advantage
- Ability to use bed management systems such as EPIC
- Familiarity with using pagers and phones
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to adapt and move between tasks in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Perform a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways and other assigned areas of the hospital
- Operate and clean equipment
- Manage linen services including distributing clean linens and maintaining stock levels on nursing floors
- Ensure cleaning of floors, surfaces, and specialty areas
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards
- Handle and package all waste streams safely
- Provide customer service by greeting and responding to patients, family members, and staff
