Job Requirements
- Knowledge of residential and commercial cleaning and sanitation techniques
- Knowledge of the proper use of personal protective equipment relevant to janitorial and housekeeping functions
- Ability to perform multiple cleaning tasks
- Clear understanding of standard cleaning techniques and industry guidelines and safety regulations
- Understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS), OSHA guidelines, and blood-borne pathogens
- Experience using industrial grade cleaning equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of residential and commercial cleaning and sanitation techniques
- Familiarity with safety regulations such as OSHA and blood-borne pathogen guidelines
- Ability to perform multiple cleaning tasks efficiently
- Experience using industrial grade cleaning equipment
- Understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and correct use of cleaning chemicals
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of public areas including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms
- Perform entry-level custodial services and janitorial operations according to guidelines and safety regulations
- Use industrial grade cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Adhere to OSHA and EPA regulations including handling blood-borne pathogens and chemical safety
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment
- Assist in maintaining an environmentally safe working environment for residents and staff
- Follow confidentiality protocols regarding sensitive and confidential information
