Job Requirements
- Must be able to read and comprehend client, company and safety communications
- Able to stand or walk for periods of up to 4 hours
- Required to bend and stoop frequently
- Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds
- Ability to push and pull carts, trash barrels, vacuum cleaners and mop
- Use of step ladder may be required
- Must adhere to proper time and attendance practices
- Wearing of required uniform and identification
- Flexibility to work scheduled hours including evenings and weekends
- Ability to work at different locations daily
- Must comply with company safety rules and regulations
Job Qualifications
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic reading and comprehension skills to understand client and company communications
- Positive attitude and adaptability
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- Dust per the facility's task schedule
- Clean all telephones
- Clean all drinking fountains
- Spot clean desk tops
- Spot clean reception/lobby glass including front door and any other partition or door glass
- Clean interior glass in partitions and doors
- Remove cobwebs
- Clean and polish all fixtures including toilet bowls, urinals and sinks
- Clean all glass and mirrors in restrooms
- Empty trash containers, replace liners and spot clean as needed
- Empty and spot clean sanitary containers
- Spot clean walls, doors, and partitions
- Refill all dispensers to normal limits
- Take trash to designated area
- Empty and clean smoking urns
- Spot clean spills and stains on carpeted floors
- Vacuum flooring
- Mop hard surface flooring
- Conduct all work in accordance with the company safety rules
- Participate in special cleaning projects as directed by management
