Job Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid AZ DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card that must be maintained throughout employment
- CPR, First Aid, AED certification if required and maintained throughout employment
- Current valid driver's license and 39-month motor vehicle report if required
- Proof of vehicle registration and liability insurance meeting company requirements if required
- Initial current negative TB test if required
- Valid Food Handlers Certificate
- Maintain all required employment documentation, certifications and licensure with timely renewals
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months housekeeping experience
- Valid AZ DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- CPR, First Aid, AED certification if required
- Current valid driver's license and 39-month motor vehicle report if required
- Food Handlers Certificate
- Ability to maintain required employment documentation and certifications
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and use of cleaning equipment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
Job Duties
- Clean and keep an orderly condition of healthcare facilities, residence halls, schools, office buildings or similar buildings
- Sweep, mop, scrub, buff, polish floors and vacuum hallways, stairs and office space
- Empty trash and garbage containers
- Clean and restock restrooms
- Clean glass inside reachable areas
- Clean furniture
- Make beds when applicable
- Notify supervisor concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating and ventilating equipment
- Spot clean carpets either by hand or using a machine
- Wash walls
- Clean lounges and kitchenettes
- Complete basic cleaning duties as assigned
- Handle limited food service responsibilities such as serving meals, washing dishes and maintaining proper food temperatures
- Perform other duties as assigned or necessary related to housekeeping
- Maintain valid employment documentation and renew as applicable in a timely manner
