Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience in health care or hospitality setting preferred
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, stretching, kneeling and standing for long periods
- Ability to use cleaning equipment such as mops, brooms, vacuum cleaners, buffers and chemicals safely
- Effective communication skills in English
- Willingness to work full-time hours
- Ability to project a positive attitude and maintain professional and ethical standards
- Ability to perform routine, repetitive cleaning and housekeeping duties

- Knowledge of cleaning practices and substances
- Ability to identify cleaning needs and safety hazards
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
- Ability to lift, bend, stretch, kneel and stand for extended periods

- No certificates or licenses required
Job Duties
- Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living to residents, visitors, co-workers and the surrounding community
- Interact positively with potential residents, family members and professionals to help grow community occupancy
- Thoroughly clean bathrooms including toilets, vanities, sinks, showers, shower seats and floors
- Clean kitchen areas completely by wiping counters, cleaning under objects, mopping floors
- Empty wastebaskets and replace bags
- Dust and polish all surfaces
- Wipe off all surfaces including windowsills, woodwork and counters
- Clean carpets through vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing and disinfecting
- Clean all common areas and common bathrooms daily and as needed
- Maintain housekeeping carts in a clean, orderly manner
- Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned
- Attend required in-service training and orientations
- Remove, fold and return bed linens
- Wash and fold linens
- Fill other positions as needed
- Clean and wash windows
- Clean and dust blinds
- General pick-up outside as needed
- Perform other duties as requested
