Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • one or more years of housekeeping or related experience preferred
  • knowledge of safe use and maintenance of cleaning supplies and tools
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work indoors approximately 80% of the time and outdoors approximately 20% of the time
  • ability to use senses such as smell, hearing, and sight
  • ability to stand all day
  • ability to lift 25 lbs or more
  • ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • ability to access confined spaces and remote areas
  • ability to perform physical activities such as sitting, squatting, bending, kneeling, walking, and lifting
  • ability to work various shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and some holidays
  • availability to work overtime
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred from an accredited institution
  • one or more years of housekeeping or related experience preferred
  • knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of cleaning supplies and tools
  • effective communication and customer service skills
  • ability to use olfactory, auditory, and visual senses
  • ability to work standing all day
  • ability to lift 25 lbs or more
  • ability to climb up and down stairs and ladders
  • ability to access remote work areas and confined spaces such as crawl spaces and roofs
  • full range of manual dexterity including sitting, squatting, bending, kneeling, walking, and lifting
  • ability to meet shift working requirements including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and some holidays
  • ability to work overtime and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • clean and maintain all common areas of the property
  • abide by a schedule and Hines standards to clean for all move-ins and move-outs
  • identify and utilize chemicals and cleaning supplies as needed
  • communicate with the service supervisor regarding overall unsafe or hazardous environments on the property
  • maintain a high standard of safety while performing tasks
