Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- one or more years of housekeeping or related experience preferred
- knowledge of safe use and maintenance of cleaning supplies and tools
- effective communication skills
- ability to work indoors approximately 80% of the time and outdoors approximately 20% of the time
- ability to use senses such as smell, hearing, and sight
- ability to stand all day
- ability to lift 25 lbs or more
- ability to climb stairs and ladders
- ability to access confined spaces and remote areas
- ability to perform physical activities such as sitting, squatting, bending, kneeling, walking, and lifting
- ability to work various shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- availability to work overtime
- ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred from an accredited institution
- one or more years of housekeeping or related experience preferred
- knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of cleaning supplies and tools
- effective communication and customer service skills
- ability to use olfactory, auditory, and visual senses
- ability to work standing all day
- ability to lift 25 lbs or more
- ability to climb up and down stairs and ladders
- ability to access remote work areas and confined spaces such as crawl spaces and roofs
- full range of manual dexterity including sitting, squatting, bending, kneeling, walking, and lifting
- ability to meet shift working requirements including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- ability to work overtime and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- clean and maintain all common areas of the property
- abide by a schedule and Hines standards to clean for all move-ins and move-outs
- identify and utilize chemicals and cleaning supplies as needed
- communicate with the service supervisor regarding overall unsafe or hazardous environments on the property
- maintain a high standard of safety while performing tasks
