- preferred certification and continuing education as CNA for resident care
Job Duties
- Perform daily cleaning of resident rooms, apartments, and public areas
- vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust as required
- empty waste baskets
- perform light maintenance tasks including window washing and floor care
- clean and disinfect resident bathrooms
- move heavy furniture and turn mattresses periodically
- operate cleaning equipment safely
- pick up, sort, label, fold, and deliver laundry and linens
- maintain laundry equipment and supplies
- follow laundry washing and drying policies
- prepare dining areas, seat residents and guests
- take meal orders and serve meals
- assist in meal preparation and cleanup
- assist nursing personnel as requested
- follow safety policies and procedures
- support Eden Alternative philosophy and customer service guidelines
