Job Requirements
- Six months of prior cleaning experience in a healthcare or housekeeping setting
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment
- Physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work independently
- Adherence to safety policies and procedures
- Willingness to attend mandatory in-services and TB testing
- Compliance with annual influenza vaccinations
- Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm part-time schedule
Job Qualifications
- Six months of prior cleaning experience in a healthcare or housekeeping role
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
- Capability to safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently and manage physical tasks
- Good interpersonal skills for interacting with residents and staff
- Certification as CNA preferred but not required
- Willingness to participate in mandatory safety and training programs
Job Duties
- Responsible for daily cleaning of resident rooms and public use areas
- Perform vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and emptying waste baskets
- Conduct light maintenance tasks such as window washing, floor care, and carpet cleaning
- Clean and disinfect resident bathrooms
- Move heavy furniture and turn mattresses periodically
- Pick up, sort, label, fold, hang, and deliver laundry
- Prepare dining areas, seat residents and guests, take meal orders, serve meals, and assist with meal preparation and cleanup
