Experience in institutional housekeeping or maintenance is helpful
experience in the use of floor-care equipment is helpful

Job Duties

Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily in accordance with facility protocols
use proper chemicals in correct portions for mopping, dusting, and spot cleaning floors
empty trash containers, replace liners, and dispose of trash appropriately
vacuum carpets as directed by supervisor
wash and dry windows using proper chemicals and equipment
report repair needs to supervisor or maintenance
request supplies and equipment from supervisor
identify and correct safety hazards, abiding by safety rules
enforce abuse prevention policies
attend weekly in-services and comply with patient care management systems
assure patient/resident safety
perform other duties as assigned
