Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
- ability to work in varying weather conditions
- successful completion of pre-employment checks or testing
- willingness to work as a Disaster Service Worker if declared during emergency situations

- ability to read and comprehend department and county rules, regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures
- ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, agencies, organizations, and community members
- strong interpersonal skills to deal effectively with guests, vendors, staff, and other facility users
- ability to foster collaboration, recognize and resolve conflicts, and communicate openly
- ability to follow directions and work independently with minimal supervision
- knowledge of cleaning supplies and procedures for sweeping, seat cleaning, floor care, restroom cleaning, disinfecting, and surface cleaning
- ability to manage multiple tasks under time constraints
- strong attention to detail and concentration over extended periods
Job Duties
- Keep facility at a presentable cleanliness and sanitation level
- operate and maintain all cleaning devices
- work flexible schedules, mainly nights, weekends, and extra hours as needed
- work in varying weather conditions
- perform cleaning of floors, restrooms, walls, glass, and metal surfaces
- follow department and county rules, regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures
- perform other duties as appropriate or necessary for job performance
