Job Requirements
- one year of experience in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role in a related area of assignment
- or one year of experience at the lower level Housekeeper 3 or position equivalent

Job Duties
- supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff
- manages the cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas
- performs any combination of duties to maintain order, sanitation and cleanliness in facilities
- maintains supplies
- supervises and plans work of assigned staff
- maintains and stocks equipment and supplies as needed
- observes required safety precautions in disposing of contaminated refuse
- operates hand tools and power cleaning equipment
- oversees the mending of linens and assists in preventative maintenance and repair
- participates in making, marking, altering and mending of clothing, linens, and other items
- plans, develops, schedules and implements laundry services
- plans, organizes and directs provision of housekeeping, grounds maintenance, laundry and sewing services
- supervises the cleaning and straightening of assigned areas
