Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Willingness to work flexible hours
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work non-traditional schedule as required by facility needs
- Have legible handwriting
- Ability to do simple mathematics
- Ability to perform duties outlined above within reasonable accommodation
Job Duties
- Operate various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, polishes, buffers, etc
- Complete daily housekeeping task list as assigned by supervisor
- Ensure proper trash and item disposal after each shift
- Keep storage areas clean and organized
- Inform Residential Administrator of needed supplies
- Inform staff of needed facility repairs to be assigned to maintenance
- Work with staff and outside contractors in a respectful and courteous manner
- Maintain resident and staff confidentiality at all times
- Maintain records in keeping with agency, county, and state guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
