Job Requirements
- Ability to understand and follow instructions generally acquired through partial high school education
- No prior experience required
- Equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience accepted
- Ability to move throughout residential buildings
- Ability to move heavy materials and equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to position self to reach and clean various areas including under or behind furniture
- Ability to reach and clean higher areas including light fixtures and shelving
- Ability to transport and stock assigned supplies and materials

Job Duties
- Clean and service assigned areas in university buildings and maintain sufficient stock and supplies for the proper performance of these duties
- Sweep, mop, buff and spray buff floors and vacuum rugs and carpets in assigned area as needed
- Clean rest rooms, offices, and replenish supplies
- Wash windows, walls and other assigned areas
- Pick up trash, empty garbage containers, and remove all trash to area for disposal
- Sanitize trash containers to meet health department requirements
- Maintain running log of all calls and baggage placed in storage
- Pack, unpack and assist in receiving, issuing and transporting materials
- Report needed items for reorder
- Aid in transferring items between departments and throughout the university
- Perform other related duties as assigned
