Job Requirements
- high school diploma
- 0-6 months of progressive work experience typically in housekeeping or 1-2 years of progressive work experience as education and experience substitution
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- willingness to comply with health and safety protocols including annual influenza vaccination and tuberculosis testing
- successful completion of background checks including fingerprinting
- willingness to follow covid-19 related rules established by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
Job Qualifications

- knowledge of cleaning methods and practices
- knowledge of cleansers, supplies, and equipment
- knowledge of basic math
- knowledge of state and facility policies and procedures
- knowledge of universal precautions
- knowledge of emergency procedures, cleaning methods, materials, and equipment
- knowledge of infection control standards

Job Duties
- clean and restock resident rooms
- clean and disinfect all public areas including carpets, handrails, doors, windows, trash cans, and light fixtures
- clean bathrooms
- gather trash
- determine appropriate chemical solutions for cleaning and disinfection
- assist with laundry services including sorting, drying, and distributing
- assure cottages have a supply of clean linens, cleaning supplies, and trash bags
- assist with scheduled comprehensive cleaning of dining room area
