Job Requirements
- One year hotel housekeeping or laundry experience or related experience
- knowledge of cleaning techniques or chemical applications a plus
- desire to work in a fast-paced role
- ability to attend scheduled meetings and training sessions
- willingness to work weekends and flexible shifts
- ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and bending

Job Duties
- Greet and warmly engage guests
- attend all morning huddles and mandatory staff meetings and training sessions
- check in with the Housekeeping Manager or designated leader at shift start and end
- keep work area and inventory clean and organized
- collect soiled linens for laundering and store linen supplies
- sweep and clean designated floors along with rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
- empty and transport all trash to disposal area following recycling procedures
- maintain storage areas neat and organized and communicate supply shortages or damages to Manager
- maintain ongoing communication with team members and respond to internal and external inquiries and complaints
- deliver professional, efficient, courteous service to exceed guest expectations
- establish and ensure adherence to security standards
- follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
- report damages, lost items, or any suspicious activity
- work weekend shifts as assigned and swap shifts with approval
- complete tasks assigned by Housekeeping Manager or General Manager including rooms, common areas, and laundry
- clean and maintain all guestrooms to property standards
- check rooms for damage or repair needs
- maintain housekeeping cart supplies
- assist fellow team members
- clean and monitor public and back-of-house areas
- respond to spill cleanup and trash removal requests
- deliver requested items to guest rooms
- launder, alter, and repair linens and maintain linen par levels
- keep accurate records of laundry services
