Job Requirements
- minimum of a high school diploma
- previous experience as a housekeeper strongly preferred
- experience in a senior living community strongly preferred
- previous experience as a caregiver strongly preferred but not required
- must have excellent knowledge of all housekeeping duties and expectations
- willingness to adhere to health and safety standards required
- must be respectful and compassionate towards the geriatric population
- must have excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills with residents, staff members, and families
- must have physical aptitude to perform the functions of the job

Job Duties
- Sweep, vacuum, dust, wash, scour, and sanitize areas as assigned
- must move furniture and equipment as necessary to clean
- keep harmful chemicals safety stored to OSHA standards and perform cleaning procedures in accordance to building policies
- use proper body mechanics during cleaning and moving furniture
- utilize housekeeping supplies as needed and properly care for all housekeeping equipment
- may assist with various caregiver duties as needed
