Job Requirements
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts
- Ability to work independently
- Must be able to spend majority of day walking, twisting, bending, pushing and pulling
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and carry up to 25 lbs with frequent bending, twisting and squatting required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of housekeeping experience preferred
- Resort or national park experience preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies
Job Duties
- Follow detailed duties worksheet assigned by the housekeeping supervisor
- Clean check-outs and stay-overs including changing sheets and towels, empty trash, dust, scrub, vacuum, and wax according to procedures
- Report damaged or missing items to the housekeeping supervisor, turn in all lost and found items to management
- Notify management and maintenance of any repairs
- Stock personal cart daily with cleaning supplies, guest supplies, and linens, alert supervisor if supplies run low
- Unload cart of dirty linens and trash at end of shift
- Assist in unloading linens delivered by truck bi-weekly
- Perform weekly, monthly and quarterly cleaning projects as assigned
- Understand company’s ISO environmental and quality management systems, policies, goals, and initiatives and meet specific responsibilities within these areas
- Perform other duties as per duties checklist and as assigned
