Job Requirements

  • Attention to detail
  • Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be able to spend majority of day walking, twisting, bending, pushing and pulling
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and carry up to 25 lbs with frequent bending, twisting and squatting required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of housekeeping experience preferred
  • Resort or national park experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies

Job Duties

  • Follow detailed duties worksheet assigned by the housekeeping supervisor
  • Clean check-outs and stay-overs including changing sheets and towels, empty trash, dust, scrub, vacuum, and wax according to procedures
  • Report damaged or missing items to the housekeeping supervisor, turn in all lost and found items to management
  • Notify management and maintenance of any repairs
  • Stock personal cart daily with cleaning supplies, guest supplies, and linens, alert supervisor if supplies run low
  • Unload cart of dirty linens and trash at end of shift
  • Assist in unloading linens delivered by truck bi-weekly
  • Perform weekly, monthly and quarterly cleaning projects as assigned
  • Understand company’s ISO environmental and quality management systems, policies, goals, and initiatives and meet specific responsibilities within these areas
  • Perform other duties as per duties checklist and as assigned
