Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required
- strong communication skills in English, both oral and written
- ability to work effectively as part of a team

- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
Job Duties
- maintain a neat and professional appearance with a properly cleaned uniform
- use provided supplies to clean and maintain guest rooms and public spaces including making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, supplying amenities, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, washing windows, replacing light bulbs, folding linens, and removing dirty linens and garbage
- safely handle cleaning chemicals following OSHA and State of Maine guidelines
- push cleaning cart and maintain storage areas with colleagues
- greet guests warmly and politely, providing information on room features
- secure keys and respect guest privacy and property
- communicate and handle guest requests, maintenance issues, and complaints professionally
- label and submit lost and found items
- practice personal sanitation and use protective equipment
- notify supervisors of broken equipment or unsafe conditions
- manually handle and lift products up to 60 pounds
- maintain bilateral fine manipulation of hands and vertical mobility in limited spaces
- protect the assets of the property and Migis Hotel Group
