Job Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED is highly desired, but not required
  • At least 1 year of housekeeping experience
  • Ability to communicate at a level which allows for safe and efficient job performance
  • Ability to utilize supplies, tools, and equipment safely and properly
  • Availability to work Monday through Sunday on various shifts including day, evening, and night
  • Commitment to follow tobacco and drug policies
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required

Job Duties

  • Provide a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for patients, staff, and visitors
  • Work with other departments to assist with extra cleaning duties
  • Assist with maintenance of supplies in housekeeping
  • Notify supervisor when refill orders are needed
  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
  • Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
  • Notify supervisor or manager of any damages, deficits, and disturbances
  • Keep bathrooms stocked with supplies
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and order more as needed
