Job Requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting walking and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to follow health and safety guidelines and procedures
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment use
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset but not required
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and hotel standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties including lifting walking and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Cleaning and servicing assigned guest rooms in a timely and organized manner following procedures and hotel standards
- Keeping an organized linen cart that is neat well stocked and organized
- Reporting any areas within guest rooms that need attention such as fixtures door locks televisions HVAC
- Maintaining security of equipment key and supplies issued
- Reporting lost and found articles to supervisor
- Responding to guest requests in a friendly and timely manner
