Job Requirements

  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting walking and standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to follow health and safety guidelines and procedures
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment use

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset but not required
  • Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and hotel standards
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties including lifting walking and standing for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Cleaning and servicing assigned guest rooms in a timely and organized manner following procedures and hotel standards
  • Keeping an organized linen cart that is neat well stocked and organized
  • Reporting any areas within guest rooms that need attention such as fixtures door locks televisions HVAC
  • Maintaining security of equipment key and supplies issued
  • Reporting lost and found articles to supervisor
  • Responding to guest requests in a friendly and timely manner
