Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1-year experience in housekeeping
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving furniture
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Willingness to follow Hyatt's standards and procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
Job Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Comfortable using a smart device for daily assignments
- 1-year housekeeping experience required
- 2-years of housekeeping experience preferred
- 2-years of cleaning experience in a full-service hotel environment highly preferred
- Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate to heavy weight
- Flexible schedule and able to work weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Thoroughly clean and maintain guest rooms according to Hyatt standards
- Clean a minimum number of rooms within scheduled shifts
- Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining a high standard of cleanliness
- Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within allocated work periods
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies properly and safely
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
- Maintain communication with supervisors and team members about daily assignments
