Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including some holidays and on-call
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Physically able to perform cleaning tasks including lifting, carrying and standing for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Ability to manage time effectively to ensure completion of tasks
- Knowledge of cleaning practices and procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen effectively
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under little supervision
Job Duties
- Clean guest rooms as assigned, including but not limited to making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
- Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities as needed
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed
- Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
- Dispose of trash and recyclables
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in a designated area
- Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Ensure proper quantities of utensils, cookware, coffee, complimentary toiletries, etc.
- Maintain health and sanitary requirements
