Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred
- ability to clean technical areas including IR, Cardiac Cath, Mother-Baby, NICU, OR, ED
- ability to operate light floor cleaning equipment
- must be able to lift and transport patients during emergencies
- physical capability to perform reaching, standing, squatting, bending, carrying/lifting up to 35 lbs or more up to 80% of the time
- ability to climb ladders
- must wear protective equipment/clothing as required
- valid Indiana driver’s license and proof of insurance
- no prior experience required

Job Duties
- Cleans and sanitizes occupied spaces including patient units, office areas, clinics, and treatment/procedural areas
- removes refuse and soiled linens
- operates light floor cleaning equipment
- adheres to infection control and safety standards
- assists in emergency patient transportation when required
- climbs ladders as necessary
- wears protective gear and clothing compliant with regulations
