Job Requirements

physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
capable of frequent bending, kneeling, and standing for most of the day
willingness to work in scattered off-campus locations
availability for occasional weekend shifts
no formal education or certification required
no prior experience required
sufficient written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

clean entryways, restrooms, common areas, stairwells, hallways, laundry areas, occupied or vacant residential units, dining facilities, and other building spaces
perform dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, cleaning glass, taking out trash, replacing linens and supplies
communicate daily with housekeeping supervisor about issues, occupant concerns, supplies and equipment needs
report maintenance issues and suspicious activity to appropriate contacts
follow all university rules and regulations
perform additional duties as assigned
