Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team

  • Familiarity with safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms by category priority
  • Perform work duties in accordance with regulations such as OSHA, HAZCOM, and Blood Borne Pathogens
  • Transport cart with cleaning supplies, amenities and linens to assigned guest room and position securely
  • Service assigned guest rooms
  • Ensure presence of fire safety, rate cards and DND sign and all guest room collateral
  • Update status of rooms cleaned on assignment sheet as well as on tablet or via the phone system
  • Return and restock cart at end of shift
  • Report any damages, missing items or maintenance problems to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
  • Report to management any suspicious activity as well as any items left behind by guests
  • Turn over any lost and found items from guest rooms to the Housekeeping Supervisor
  • Sign for keys in and out daily
