Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • at least 1 year of housekeeping experience
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • ability to use cleaning supplies and equipment safely
  • availability to work scheduled shifts including weekends and holidays
  • commitment to adhering to health and safety protocols
  • physical ability to perform housekeeping duties

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of housekeeping experience or high school diploma/GED
  • ability to communicate effectively for safe and efficient job performance
  • ability to use supplies, tools, and equipment safely and properly
  • understanding of infection control practices

  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • basic knowledge of safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Participate in appropriate housekeeping processes and procedures
  • assist with the maintenance of supplies in housekeeping and notify the supervisor when refill orders are needed
  • ensure infection control protocols are followed in daily cleans, discharges/transfers, and ancillary areas by following Eight Step Cleaning Procedures
  • maintain cleanliness and safety in patient care areas
  • report any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors
  • adhere to organizational policies and safety standards
  • support a team-oriented environment
