Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate verbally in person and over the phone

- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures

- Basic knowledge of regulatory compliance related to assisted living facilities
Job Duties
- Visits assigned residences to perform basic apartment cleaning of bathroom fixtures and floors
- Changes residents' bedding and linens each week and as requested
- Interacts with residents in a friendly manner and communicates health concerns
- Maintains cleanliness of all common areas including entryways, corridors, and dining rooms
- Cleans floors by sweeping, mopping, waxing, buffing, and disinfecting
- Cleans public restrooms including washing and sanitizing fixtures
- Handles hazardous cleaning supplies safely and follows labeling procedures
- Participates in in-service education and on-the-job training
- Responds to resident emergencies following established protocols
- Maintains compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Works safely and reports unsafe conditions
- Fosters teamwork and assists co-workers
- Develops basic knowledge of the organization to answer questions
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed
