- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- one year of hospital or hotel housekeeping or related janitorial experience highly preferred
- good verbal and written communication skills
- capable of working independently
- able to set priorities and be flexible in assignments

Job Duties
- Clean assigned area(s) according to procedure to meet established infection control, sanitation and safety guidelines
- replenish supplies on housekeeping carts or in assigned areas to prepare work area for next service period
- responsible for keeping all equipment clean and reporting all broken equipment to the supervisor
- perform other related duties as assigned
- sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, pull trash, pull dirty linen, clean sinks, commodes, countertops, showers and beds
- maintain cleanliness and safety standards in patient and public areas
