Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Background screening through Florida AHCA Clearinghouse
- Ability to work weekends
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to cleaning
- Adherence to safety and infection control protocols
- Availability for PRN shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning and disinfecting protocols
- Ability to follow federal, state, and local healthcare regulations
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Ensure facility cleaning procedures are followed including furniture cleaned and orderly, floors are cleaned, cubicle curtains are clean and in good condition, commonly touched areas are disinfected, bathrooms are cleaned and disinfected
- Check room for stains on walls, floors, ceiling tiles, and toilet seats and clean as needed
- Ensure all soaps, sanitizers, toilet paper, and paper towels are replenished daily
- Perform high dusting over bed lights, A/C vents, and exhaust vents in resident rooms and common areas
- Report all damage found while following cleaning procedures to supervisor
- Perform other assigned duties including laundry and floor technician tasks
- Follow facility cleaning procedures regarding resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices
