Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Minimum of one year housekeeping experience preferably in healthcare or hospitality setting
- Familiarity with proper cleaning procedures, infection control, and universal precautions
- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and ability to interpret Safety Data Sheets
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk extensively
- Moderate twisting, stooping, kneeling, and bending
- Ability to push frequently and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- Occasional ladder climbing
- Regular use of hearing and vision at normal levels
- Must be able to work weekend shifts

Job Duties
- Provide comprehensive cleaning services for assigned areas including vacuuming, dusting, waste removal, changing and washing bed linens, and cleaning floors, fixtures, and appliances following departmental guidelines
- Maintain assigned housekeeping supplies and equipment in a neat, orderly, and safe manner
- Report resident complaints or concerns to the Housekeeping Manager or Hospitality Director
- Offer friendly customer service to residents or guests in the unit during cleaning services, responding to questions or conversations as appropriate
- Participate in cross-training between housekeeping and laundry to provide support for laundry operations when required
- Provide backup housekeeping support to other areas of Montereau as needed
- Must be able to work weekend shifts
