Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience preferred
- Ability to work Monday through Friday
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Good attendance and punctuality
- Must have government-issued state ID or valid driver’s license if required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to follow safety protocols and company policies
Job Qualifications

- Prior housekeeping or porter experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
- Basic computer literacy

- Ability to maintain professional appearance and attitude
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and outdoor work
- Valid government-issued ID or driver’s license if required by management
Job Duties
- Practice OSHA standards and company safety policy and stay aware of work-safety requirements
- Continue education of safety training as required by company and/or State and Federal Law
- Complete a hazard assessment form before beginning any task
- Assist other team members when necessary
- Use make ready cleaning checklist for all apartment homes cleaned and turn in to Community Manager
- Clean all common areas not less than one time per day
- Clean and monitor restrooms for cleanliness and inventory of necessities not less than two times per day
- Care, maintenance, and inventory of all equipment used for job duties
- Communicate verbally and in writing with supervisor at least once per day
- Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property, co-workers, or residents
- Maintain required property uniform and professional appearance at all times
- Water potted plants in common areas daily and any newly planted foliage as directed
- Perform lawn care duties including watering, mowing, trimming, fertilizing, raking, pulling weeds, spraying insecticides, and reseeding as needed
- Paint exterior of buildings and pick up litter/trash on grounds daily
- Maintain exterior light fixtures including replacing light bulbs
- Install and maintain fences and gates
- Care for pools and assist with inventory control of grounds equipment and supplies
- Assist with emergency maintenance situations and after-hour emergency coverage including fire watch
- Perform scheduled maintenance on all equipment based on manufacturer guidelines
- Routinely pressure wash and blow walks and breezeways and keep pool area clean
- Participate in standby emergency schedule for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage
- Ensure storage areas and entrances are locked and adequately lit
- Assist in custodial work including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and window cleaning in common areas
