Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in housekeeping or similar role preferred
  • ability to perform physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • government-issued state ID or valid driver’s license if required
  • willingness to work Monday through Friday with flexibility for emergency standby
  • ability to understand and apply safety standards
  • strong attendance and professionalism
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • detail oriented
  • able to maintain equipment and tools
  • reliable and organized

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior housekeeping or porter experience preferred
  • ability to read, write, and speak English
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • capable of multitasking in time-constrained situations
  • basic computer literacy
  • excellent communication skills
  • commitment to professional appearance
  • physical ability to perform required tasks

Job Duties

  • Practice OSHA standards and company safety policy
  • continue education of safety training
  • complete a hazard assessment form before tasks
  • assist other team members when necessary
  • complete make ready cleaning checklists for apartments
  • clean all common areas daily
  • clean and monitor restrooms twice a day
  • maintain and inventory cleaning equipment
  • communicate verbally and in writing with supervisor daily
  • report unusual circumstances on property
  • maintain professional appearance and uniform
  • water community potted plants daily
  • perform lawn mowing, trimming, fertilizing, and raking
  • paint exterior buildings and pick up litter daily
  • maintain pool and exterior fixtures
  • assist in emergency maintenance and after-hours fire watch
  • perform scheduled maintenance on equipment
  • pressure wash and blow walkways
  • participate in emergency standby schedule
  • ensure storage areas are locked and well lit
  • assist with custodial work in common areas
