Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior housekeeping or porter experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Must have a government issued state ID or valid driver's license if required by management
- Ability to work Monday through Friday
- Must be able to tolerate outdoor work conditions
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Good attendance and communication skills
- Ability to follow safety policies and procedures
- Physical ability to access all areas of the property including multilevel structures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior housekeeping or porter experience preferred

- Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety procedures
- Basic maintenance and groundskeeping skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work under time constraints
- Ability to follow detailed written or verbal instructions
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and property maintenance tools
- Limited computer literacy
Job Duties
- Practice OSHA standards and company safety policy and stay aware of work-safety requirements
- Continue education of safety training as required by company and/or State and Federal Law
- Complete a hazard assessment form before beginning any task
- Assist other team members when necessary
- Complete make ready cleaning checklist for all apartment homes cleaned
- Clean all common areas not less than one time per day
- Clean and monitor restrooms for cleanliness and inventory of necessities not less than two times per day
- Care, maintenance, and inventory of equipment used in job duties
- Communicate verbally and in writing with supervisor daily
- Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property, co-workers, or residents
- Maintain required property uniform and professional appearance
- Water potted plants and other foliage in community common areas daily
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, fertilizing, raking, and weeding
- Maintain exterior areas including picking up litter, cleaning light fixtures, and maintaining fences and gates
- Assist with pool area cleanliness and maintenance
- Perform scheduled maintenance on all equipment
- Maintain all lawn and cleaning equipment
- Perform routine pressure washing and blowing of walks and breezeways
- Participate in standby emergency schedule for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage
- Ensure storage areas and entrances are locked and adequately lit
- Assist in custodial work in common areas including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning windows
