Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year housekeeping experience required
- Ability to work full-time shifts including every other weekend
- Successful completion of background criminal history check
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug test
- Ability to complete TB skin testing upon hire
- Compliance with federal COVID-19 vaccination mandate or obtain exemption
- Capability to handle physical demands of cleaning and maintenance tasks
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year prior housekeeping experience
- Experience working in a long-term care facility or hospital preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning
- Ability to promote sanitary conditions to prevent infection
- Capable of operating cleaning and maintenance equipment
- Familiarity with bio-hazard waste removal protocols
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
Job Duties
- Ensuring the facility is kept clean by dusting, mopping, sweeping, damp/wet mopping, polishing, scrubbing, vacuuming, trash removal and for the removal of bio-hazard waste
- Keeping their assigned areas clean and attractive
- Promoting sanitary conditions to prevent the spread of infection
- Ensuring all equipment is in working order
- Completing their daily routine
- Performing other duties as needed due to cross-training
- Assisting in floor care such as stripping and waxing floors, extracting and bonnet cleaning of carpets
