Job Requirements
- Must be reliable
- Ability to speak, read, and understand English
- Willingness to work per diem schedule including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and laundry duties
- Commitment to working in a senior resident community
- Attention to detail in cleaning and laundry tasks
- Ability to follow safety and hygiene guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience desirable
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Experience working in healthcare or senior resident community is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Basic knowledge of cleaning and laundry procedures
Job Duties
- Clean all areas of assigned wing including resident rooms and bathrooms
- Work occasionally in laundry sorting soiled linens, washing, drying and folding linen
- Maintain attention to detail in all cleaning tasks
- Work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Communicate clearly in English to ensure safety and proper care documentation
- Follow safety and hygiene protocols
- Assist with maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for residents
