Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum one-year experience preferred
- ability to pass background checks
- ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- physical ability to perform housekeeping duties
- availability for per diem schedule
- compliance with health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- minimum of one-year experience in housekeeping preferred
- knowledge of health and safety regulations
- ability to operate laundry equipment
- attention to detail
- good organizational skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- perform daily housekeeping and laundry functions to maintain a clean and healthy environment
- clean and restock housekeeping carts at the end of shifts
- prepare patient rooms for new admissions
- clean patient rooms after discharge
- wash, dry, and fold laundry as required
- follow Department of Health and Safety regulations and departmental guidelines
- participate in pre-employment screenings including background and drug tests
