Job Requirements
- No formal education required
- Preferably at least one year housekeeping experience
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to comply with OSHA and infection control standards
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
- Must be reliable and punctual

- Knowledge of cleaning and disinfecting protocols
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and overtime
Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks of patient rooms, offices and public areas
- Vacuum, dust, mop, sweep and take out trash
- Ensure that adequate linens are kept in the facility
- Clean areas with disinfectants
- Refill supplies such as paper products and soap
- Assure that supply closets are kept clean and orderly
- Keep cleaning supplies and equipment safely stored and away from patient access
- Assist Housekeeping Supervisor and other staff as requested
- Report any situations that may affect patient or employee health
- Assist in maintaining a safe and risk-preventive environment
- Comply with infection control, OSHA, and safety policies and procedures
