Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three years of related experience or training
- Ability to follow infection control practices
- Ability to utilize cleaning chemicals and supplies according to procedure
- Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner
- Previous hospital experience preferred
- Ability to work per diem and maintain a flexible schedule

- One to three (1-3) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous hospital experience preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the environmental services department
- Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner
- Completes work assignments in a timely manner
- Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure
- Follows all infection control practices including hand hygiene techniques, standard precautions and isolation precautions
