Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent education or experience
  • previous experience as housekeeper in a patient care facility preferred
  • experience with housekeeping equipment such as buffer preferred
  • basic reading writing and math skills required
  • ability to communicate English effectively orally and in writing
  • ability to learn to use housekeeping equipment and perform housekeeping duties
  • availability to work day evening and night shifts
  • flexibility to work variable days including weekends once a month

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent education or experience
  • previous experience as housekeeper in a patient care facility preferred
  • experience with housekeeping equipment such as buffer preferred
  • basic skills in reading writing and mathematics
  • ability to communicate effectively in English orally and in writing
  • ability to learn use of equipment and housekeeping functions

Job Duties

  • maintains assigned areas in a clean orderly and sanitary condition
  • performs work assignments effectively and according to prescribed methods
  • responds to special cleaning requests and assistance needs promptly
  • ensures smooth workflow within the facility through timely cleaning
  • may act as a designee for Lead Housekeeper or Department Manager in their absence
  • learns and utilizes housekeeping equipment proficiently
  • communicates effectively in oral and written English
