Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Compassionate, patient, and kind
  • Prior experience in housekeeping or facilities role a plus but not required
  • Ability to follow cleaning schedules and safety protocols
  • Ability to work part-time during day shifts

Job Duties

  • Clean resident rooms as well as the general community ensuring that work cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical
  • Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in all assigned areas
  • Use cleaning supplies and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel
  • Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
