Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
  • Good physical health and stamina
  • Must be able to follow directions and work independently
  • Must pass background check

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning agents safely
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to perform cleaning tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Ensure the highest quality of customer service is available for our residents
  • Engage in prospective resident visits
  • Clean resident apartments including vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting, dusting, emptying trash, making beds, and linen service where applicable
  • Responsible for personal laundry service where applicable
  • Maintain cleanliness of entire building
  • Monitor public restrooms for cleanliness and adequate supplies throughout the day
  • Maintain regulatory compliance where applicable
  • Transport trash and waste to disposal area
  • Note areas or articles in need of repair and report to Assistant Director
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or Executive Director
